The HL Series from Kingston is a high-speed precision lathe designed for heavy-duty machining tasks. It features a main spindle supported by three super precision Timken bearings, ensuring rigid support and stability during operations. The headstock is made of chrome molybdenum alloy steel, hardened, ground, and dynamically balanced to reduce vibrations and withstand heavy cutting. The quick-change gear box is modern and fully enclosed, allowing for easy selection of feed and thread. Automatic lubrication is provided for all running parts, slideways, and leadscrews, reducing maintenance needs and extending the machine’s lifespan. The precision cross feed screw with a backlash eliminator ensures accurate movements, enhancing precision and accuracy in machining tasks. Additionally, the HL Series includes a high-performance motor starter with overload protection relay, a heavily ribbed, twist-free bed with hardened and ground ways, and a large capacity oil pan with caster travel wheels.
