The King Rich T Series turning centres are built on a machining-centre style structure, rather than a lightweight lathe-only platform, supporting higher stiffness and accuracy. Six models span compact 2-axis production turning through to full mill/turn with live tooling, Y-axis, and twin sub-spindle capability. The T Series suits everything from high-volume turning to complex one-hit machining.

Feature Summary

The King Rich T Series is a comprehensive range of CNC turning centres spanning six models. Each machine reflects King Rich’s core design philosophy: rigid, machining-centre style construction, in-house spindle manufacturing, and a long-term support commitment that few manufacturers can match.

KR-TL200: Compact Production Turning
The KR-TL200 is a compact, high-performance CNC turning centre designed for precision machining of small to medium-sized components. With a maximum turning diameter of 180mm and turning length of 300mm, it is ideal for a wide range of applications. The 6-inch chuck and 52mm bar capacity allow for versatile material handling, while the A2-5 spindle nose ensures secure and accurate workholding. Linear rail ball bearing slide technology is used, delivering high-speed, responsive axis movement from a very small footprint.
KR-TC200B: Heavy-Duty Box Way Turning
The KR-TC200B features hardened box way slide technology and a 17kW (23hp) spindle, making it a powerful workhorse for a wide range of materials and job types. A 12-station VDI 30 turret, Renishaw automatic tool setting, and hydraulic tailstock are included as standard. This is a 2-axis machine well suited to subcontractors handling diverse work.
KR-TC400: Large-Capacity Box Way Turning
The KR-TC400 is the largest capacity turning centre in the King Rich T Series. This large-capacity workhorse features a 32kW (43hp) spindle, 12-station VDI 40 turret, Renishaw tool setting, swarf conveyor, and hydraulic tailstock. With a 400mm max turning diameter and 91mm spindle bore, it handles substantial workpieces with ease.
KR-TC220MY: Compact Mill-Turn
The KR-TC220MY is a solidly built and versatile box way turning centre with standard equipment not normally found on machines of this type. The Y-axis can travel 35mm above and below centreline, making easy work of components that would normally require separate milling and turning operations.
KR-TC320MY: High-Power Mill-Turn
The KR-TC320MY is equipped with live tooling, and Y-axis capability. The machine’s 12-station live tool turret and Y-axis allow for multi-axis machining, reducing setup times and increasing throughput. Precision is a hallmark of the KR-TC320MY, thanks to its optional C-axis encoder with ±0.002° accuracy, ideal for intricate contouring and synchronised milling.
KR-TC260LTY-S: Twin Sub-Spindle Mill-Turn
The KR-TC260LTY-S is the most capable model in the T Series. With a twin sub-spindle arrangement, Y-axis, live tooling, and a 12-station BMT65 turret, it handles both ends of a component in one cycle. The main spindle runs at 4,000 rpm on a 22kW motor; the sub-spindle runs at 5,000 rpm on a 15kW motor.
