Both spindles run 5 HP motors, giving the KR-VH1000i the muscle to remove material efficiently. The vertical head offers a wide speed range (70–3600 rpm) while maintaining smooth control for small-tool operations. The horizontal spindle provides the rigidity required for deep-slotting, slab milling, and other high-load tasks. Together, they cover the broadest possible spectrum of workshop jobs.

Travels are generous for a turret-style mill: 860mm in X and 400mm in Y exceed many alternatives in this size class, giving you more usable table area and fewer compromises with fixturing. The quill diameter is a substantial 105mm, placing it at the upper end of the market for rigidity and drilling performance.

Operator-focused details round out the package. A pendant arm with locking screws positions controls right where you need them.
